  • Newspaper 
  • Corrugated Cardboard
  • Mixed Paper (magazines, books, phone books, food boxes, etc.)
  • Mingled (glass, plastic, aluminum, tin, steel containers)
  • White Metal/Appliances (air conditioners, refrigerators ,shelving, metal furniture, etc.

Electronics

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is no longer accepting electronics with the regular garbage collection.  These items include:

  • Computers
  • DVD Players
  • External Drives
  • Gaming Systems
  • Modems
  • Printers
  • Radios
  • Scanners
  • Stereo Components
  • Telephones
  • TVs
  • VCRs
  • Video Equipment

Resident may drop off their electronic devices free of charge, at the Department of Public Works garage during the normal business hours of 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


 
 Unacceptable Items

The following items are not accepted as part of the recycling program and will still be collected
with the normal garbage collection.  If you are unsure if your item is recyclable, please call the DPW at 732-247-9379.  Proof of residency will be required.  Commercially generated items cannot be accepted.
