The course information is intended to heighten your awareness of pertinent State Laws and Municipal Ordinances regarding general sanitation requirements, foodborne disease outbreaks, proper food handling, preparation, storage and personal hygiene.
Each Course is taught by a NJ Licensed Registered Environmental Health Specialist and/or Health Educator with pertinent experience and knowledge of food safety and the Retail Food Inspection process.
Topics Covered Include: Personal Hygiene and Hand-washing, Cleaning and Sanitizing, Cross-Contamination, Time and Temperature Control, Good Retail Practices, Controlling Pests and Insects and Understanding Your Inspection
There is a $25.00 per person charge for attending this course. The fee is payable by cash or check made out to the County of Middlesex. The fees will be collected at the door prior to the start of the courses.
