The Mayor and Borough Council serve as the redevelopment entity for the Borough of Highland Park. Among its responsibilities are establishing areas in need of redevelopment, adopting and implementing redevelopment plans, negotiating redevelopment agreements and advancing redevelopment projects with private developers. The redevelopment entity typically meets monthly on the second Tuesday evening of the month; meetings are noticed and posted on the Borough’s website calendar. The redevelopment entity may take formal action, such as adoption of resolutions and ordinances, at these meetings.
