Automated Garbage Collection
Highland Park launched its automated garbage collection program in 2015. The program started on Woodbridge Avenue and expanded to select streets on the north and south sides of town. The Borough is continuing to add streets to the automated collection program as equipment allows.
If you're unsure if your street and home are on an automated garbage route, please take a look at the Automated Garbage Collection Map. Streets highlighted in red will begin automated garbage collection on September 3, 2019. Streets highlighted in blue and yellow were added to the route previously. A list of the street names and numbers being added for September 2019 can be view on the Expansion List.
