After the statewide referendum to legalize cannabis passed in November 2020, New Jersey's Cannabis Regulatory Commission gave communities until August 22, 2021 to adopt regulations governing which classes of cannabis establishments to allow, where they should be located, how many are appropriate and how they should operate.
The Borough will be hosting a Public Forum on Tuesday, June 29th at 7:00 p.m. to present what the Mayor and Council have been discussing related to cannabis regulation in Highland Park. The forum will be held on Zoom and can be accessed via computer or phone, see below.
