Queen Nur is a national storyteller, teaching artist and folklorist who has performed in over 38 states, Canada and West Africa. She is the 2020 Zora Neale Hurston Award Winner from The National Association of Black Storytellers and its 14th President serving from 2014-2015, a 2018 winner of the NJ Governor's Award in Art Education and Teaching Artist of the Year for Young Audiences of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
