The Highland Park First Aid Squad, in conjunction with the Mayor's Teen Advisory Council, invites residents of Highland Park and nearby communities to a fun-filled Open House and Teddy Bear (or fluffy friend) Clinic on Sunday, June 11th, 4:00 - 7:30 pm. The event will be held at the First Aid Squad at 128 South 11th Ave.
The Open House will be a family-friendly event, with activities for small children and tours of ambulances for older children and curious adults! There will be demonstrations of basic life-saving techniques and equipment as well as opportunities for Teddy Bears and Dollys to receive thorough checkups (with appropriate "parental supervision"). The Open House will feature complimentary light refreshments and opportunities to learn about volunteering for the First Aid Squad.
