The role of the Recreation Advisory Committee is to ensure that Highland Park is offering the best possible recreational opportunities to all their citizens at a fair and reasonable cost. These programs include but are not limited to Youth Sports, Activities and Classes, such as youth theater, Adult Sports, Summer Camps and Community Events.

At meetings the committee discusses current programs successes and challenges are discussed, as well as, future programs and ideas for new programs.
